I’m Chris, the artist behind Petty Frogger. Thanks for visiting my page! I’m a painter living in Northern Virginia, though I love to travel. I mostly use watercolor and gouache, with the occasional bit of ink or colored pencil thrown into the mix, and I’m always on the lookout for new things to experiment with in my art.

I believe that one of art’s most important purposes is to bring joy. My colorful, whimsical style is focused on finding beauty and humor in the world around me, including in places that once scared me (spiders). I paint because it brings me joy, and I hope to bring joy to those who see my art as well.
