Commissions

Whether it’s a simple pet portrait, a painting of your favorite animal, or a concept you’ve had in mind and want to bring to life, message me and let’s discuss!

All of my art is 100% human — no AI is used during any point in the process, so you can feel good about supporting a real artist (who does consume water, but only because otherwise she’ll shrivel up like a raisin.)

  • 5” x 7” paintings start at $75.

    8” x 10” paintings start at $155.

    Larger sizes are available upon request.

    Complex backgrounds, multiple subjects, or rush orders may require additional costs, but all costs will be laid out and discussed before you pay a cent.

    Buyer is responsible for shipping, if local pickup in the Northern Virginia area isn’t possible.

  • I’m happy to paint pet portraits, house portraits, childhood stuffed animal portraits, or paintings. of a favorite animal! If you’ve got something else in mind, message me and let’s discuss.

    The primary requirement is that you can provide a clear reference photograph that isn’t AI generated and isn’t copyrighted (if you took the photo, we’re good to go!)

  • Right now, the timeline is 2-4 weeks. Larger paintings may require a longer timeline, and the timeline may be dependent on you responding (for example, approving a concept sketch) in a timely manner.

Commission Process

We’ll discuss your concept, pricing, timeline, and reference photos.

Once we’re set to go, I’ll email you a contract and invoice, and you’ll pay 50% of the commission price up front.

Preliminary sketch (if applicable)

If your concept is more complex than a simple portrait based on a photograph, I’ll send you a sketch to approve. We’ll do a round of revisions if there’s something you’d like to change.

Once you approve the sketch, the composition is set and cannot be altered.

I paint your piece

When the painting is finished, I’ll send you a watermarked image of the final piece.

Assuming there are no minor adjustments to make, you’ll pay the remaining 50% of the commission price + shipping cost, using your choice of carrier.

You receive your original, one-of-a-kind piece of art!
